Remembering Kristallnacht: Words & Film Sunday Matinee@EMPL presents

On Kristallnacht, Nov. 9th, 1938, Tom Breslauer was one of thousands of Jewish men arrested and sent to the Dachau Concentration Camp. Released from imprisonment, he fled to the United States and became a soldier in the U.S. Army.  Sgt. Breslauer returned to Europe with the 79th Infantry Division to fight the Nazis.  After the war, he settled in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. The film will be introduced by Camille Breslauer.
